What do UFS do?
Most of our members find that they need us when they least expect it. The majority of our workload is dealing with individual cases, with hundreds of members being represented each year (who no doubt felt before the event that it would never happen to them). It is good to have that peace of mind.
In companies where we negotiate with management on collective issues, being a union member can influence the success of the outcome. The more members we have, the more imperative it is for the employer to listen to us. Union membership helps us make a difference.

- Where possible, we represent members' interest to their management, including annual pay deals.
